Course Description
In this 3-hr hands on course we will explore the definition of Parkinson’s Disease, the symptoms, causes and effects of the disorder and the treatments available. We will discuss the benefits of Massage Therapy and review a variety of ways to customize the massage session for your client’s need at each visit. We will practice hands-on variations and/or adaptations of several massage techniques that have been shown to be beneficial to the Parkinson’s client.
