Course Description
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
In this four hour hands-on Certification / CE Course, you will learn the basic techniques for Foot and Hand Reflexology. This focuses on the application of pressure to areas on the feet and hands that theoretically correspond to organs and systems of the body which in turn is believed to affect the organs and benefits the client’s health. It is also widely accepted that Reflexology is generally relaxing and may be an effective way to alleviate stress and promote wellness throughout the entire body.
This modality is especially beneficial to those clients who may be unable to receive and/or tolerate a full body or chair massage. Several studies have indicated that reflexology may reduce pain and psychological symptoms, such as anxiety and depression, and enhance relaxation and sleep. Studies also show that reflexology may have benefits in people in palliative care.
This class is open to all individuals and to the general public.
