Dynamic Cupping Made Easy

Course Description

In this basic 2hr Dynamic Cupping class, we will learn the basics of Dynamic, or “Glide” Cupping, using silicone cups. Many people find glide cupping easier to tolerate, less “painful” and often leaves fewer residual marks on the skin than regular cupping or “static” cupping.

We will begin with discussing the various benefits this modality can offer your clients, and how to safely perform the techniques. Then, we will move to the table and learn the hands-on techniques combined with massage.

Students should bring a set of twin sheets (and a blanket if you run cool), a hand towel and your massage lotion.

This class provides 2 Continuing Education hours to Licensed Massage Therapists.

Basic Prenatal Massage Certification/ Infant Massage Certification Class, Pt. 1

Course Description

This is Part 1 of the Basic Prenatal Massage Certification Class. The $480 class fee is for BOTH days.

In this 12-hour (two-part) CEU/Certification class you will learn more about the physical changes that affect massage in the different trimesters of pregnancy from an instructor certified in Prenatal Massage, as well as techniques geared specifically for the pregnant client. You must attend both days to receive your PN certification. This class will give you a 12-hr certification in Prenatal massage and should help you to get more comfortable working with your pregnant clients in all stages of their pregnancy. We will also discuss ways to promote PN Massage in your practice.

This is NOT a “Specialty” class for high-risk clients but will educate you in basic prenatal massage techniques and should equip you to welcome them into your practice.

As an added bonus, we will learn Infant Massage techniques in the Part 2 class the following day.

You do not need to be an LMT to take this course, but it should help you secure a position in a Massage Therapy practice once you get licensed. Needless to say, you must be an LMT to actually do these massages. Adding this Certification will help you better market yourself in the Massage Therapist community.

You MUST take BOTH days of class to obtain your Certification.

One complete set of sheets, three pillowcases, a hand towel and massage lotion. You are more than welcome to bring a pregnant friend as your “model”.

Reflexology I & II, The Foot and Hand

Course Description

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

In this five hour hands-on Certification / CE Course, you will learn the basic techniques for Foot and Hand Reflexology. This focuses on the application of pressure to areas on the feet and hands that theoretically correspond to organs and systems of the body which in turn is believed to affect the organs and benefits the client’s health. It is also widely accepted that Reflexology is generally relaxing and may be an effective way to alleviate stress and promote wellness throughout the entire body.

This modality is especially beneficial to those clients who may be unable to receive and/or tolerate a full body or chair massage. Several studies have indicated that reflexology may reduce pain and psychological symptoms, such as anxiety and depression, and enhance relaxation and sleep. Studies also show that reflexology may have benefits for people in palliative care.

NOTE: If you  took our Reflexology 1 / Basic Foot course this year (2025) you MAY join this class for the hand portion, paying the difference.

This class is open to all individuals and to the general public.

“Body Wraps – 101”

Course Description

In this course we will learn how to do three types of full body wraps: Dead Sea Mud, Seaweed Gel and a Lavender Mint Moisture Mask.

Long known for its healing properties and very high concentration of minerals, the Dead Sea has offered mud users relief from aching joints, stiffness, skin problems and other toxic ailments. The Seaweed Gel infuses the body with vitamins, minerals & antioxidants, improves circulation, stimulates the metabolism and promotes cell renewal.  The Moisture Mask restores the skin’s water-lipid layer and increases the amount of nutrients and oxygen in the skin cells, neutralizes free radicals and protects connective tissue. The Moisture Mask has also been shown to helps reverse sun damage, and firms, lifts and tones aging skin. All three full body wraps can aid in body contouring as well.

Attendees will not only be instructed in the process of these three wraps, but will also actually receive one of the three body wrap treatments during the class.

This IS a Certification Class.          Pre-registration IS required.
